Bealtaine Festival Wool Workshop & Afternoon Tea

On Friday 22nd May, Glenasmole Community Centre was delighted to host a special event as part of the Bealtaine Festival.

Visitors enjoyed a fascinating wool workshop, where they had the opportunity to learn about traditional wool spinning techniques and see a spinning wheel in action. The workshop provided a wonderful insight into a craft that has been passed down through generations, while also offering a chance for participants to share stories, experiences and conversation.

Following the workshop, guests gathered together for a relaxing afternoon tea, enjoying refreshments in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The event was a lovely opportunity for members of the community to connect, learn something new and celebrate the spirit of the Bealtaine Festival.
