New Floodlights Installed at Astro Pitch

Glenasmole Community Centre is delighted to announce the installation of brand-new floodlights on our 2G Astro Pitch. This upgrade has been planned for some time, and we’re excited to finally make extended evening use possible for local sports groups, youth activities, and community programmes.

The new system provides improved visibility, greater energy efficiency, and a more enjoyable experience for everyone who uses the pitch. Whether it’s football training, community games, or youth group activities, the upgraded lighting ensures the space can be safely used throughout the darker winter months.

This project was made possible through the continued support of local volunteers and community fundraising efforts. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed time, resources, and effort to make this improvement a reality.
